Artistic Solutions are palm specialists — queen palms, Mexican fan palms, Washingtonias, and date palms — with the right gear and crew to do it safely and leave the place clean. We handle frond removal, seed-pod and flower-stalk cleanup, trunk skinning for a clean look, and full palm removal when one has to go — with chipping and haul-away of what comes down.
Most ornamental palms do best with a trim about once a year — usually heading into summer — to clear dead fronds and seed pods before they drop. We'll tell you what yours actually needs on a free on-site look.

Common signs: large dead branches in the canopy, bark falling off in sheets, fungus or mushrooms growing at the base, leaning that wasn't there last year, fewer leaves than the same tree a year ago. Some of those are recoverable with pruning and root care. Some mean the tree is structurally compromised and should come down before it falls on its own. Call us at 760-297-4652 — we'll come look and tell you which one it is.
Depends on what's wrong. Disease in early stages, deadwood-only damage, or compaction stress — often saveable with structural pruning, soil work, and time. Structural cracks in the trunk, widespread root damage, or a hard lean toward a structure — usually a removal call. We give you the honest answer with a quick on-site look, whether it's the answer you want or not.

Yes. Cleanup and haul-away are part of the scope we quote up front — logs hauled or stacked at your call, branches chipped, lawn raked. We walk the property with you before we leave so you can sign off.
Call for a free on-site look. We'll look at the tree honestly and give you a straight read — trim it, take it down, or leave it. Sometimes the answer is remove. Sometimes it's a smart pruning that keeps the tree standing for years.
Yes — palm specialists. Skinning, frond removal, seed-pod cleanup, full removal. Queens, Mexican fans, washingtonias, date palms. San Diego County has a lot of palms; we know them all.
Yes. Eucalyptus grow fast, get top-heavy, and shed heavy limbs in wind, so they need real thinning and weight reduction — not just a light trim. Done right it lowers the risk of a limb failure; topping them makes the regrowth weaker and more dangerous. We thin and reduce them to keep them safer without butchering the tree.
Grinding chips the stump several inches below grade and leaves the roots to decay in place — faster and more affordable, and the spot can be replanted, sodded, or paved over. Full removal digs out the entire root ball, which is more invasive and costly but is sometimes needed before construction. For most yards, grinding is the right call.
Most ornamental palms — queen, Mexican fan, Washingtonia, date — do well with a trim about once a year, usually heading into summer, to clear dead fronds and seed pods before they drop. Fruiting palms near a pool or walkway may want it more often. We'll tell you what yours needs on a free on-site look.
